Most recently Don was VP, Sales and Marketing at Fresenius Medical Care, focused on dialysis and specialty renal pharmaceuticals.

    Orchid Jahanshahi is a persuasive and passionate
    commercial leader with extensive experience in Marketing
    Management, Sales Management and Global Brand
    Strategy in the biopharmaceutical sector. She has held
    numerous progressive roles in bringing specialty and
    primary care treatments to healthcare professionals.
    Orchid worked in Canada and the United States at six
    Fortune 500 pharma companies and in various therapeutic
    areas including Neuroscience, Multiple Sclerosis,
    Cardiovascular, Wound Care, Oncology and Hematology.
    Orchid has a proven eye for organizational talent, having
    led critical change by engaging associates to nurture their sense of purpose, while
    coaching for stellar business targets. As a collaborative people leader, she embraces
    Diversity and Inclusion, having implemented training on Unconscious Bias at a large
    pharmaceutical company.
    In 2020, Orchid pivoted her career to the artificial intelligence space at two separate
    Toronto tech start-ups with the vision to create awareness for the ethical use of AI, and
    to help unleash the power of AI-powered predictive analytics for the life sciences sector.
    In her current role as VP Commercial, Life Sciences at ODAIA, Orchid is responsible
    for the Sales and Marketing strategy of MAPTUAL, a SaaS Customer Data platform
    designed to automate real-time insights with AI/ML for the biopharma industry.
    Orchid is a member of the Board of Directors of Kinark Child & Family Services’ Board
    of Directors and was a previous Education Chair of OPMA.
    Orchid holds an MBA from Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

    Shawna has eight years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. She started her career building her own fitness business while working at a startup company in Consumer Packaged Goods. Most recently, Shawna has joined Novo Nordisk Canada to lead the Digital Transformation as an OmniChannel Marketing Manager. Shawna has also recently joined the Women Leaders in Pharma Executive Leadership Team as the Digital Lead. Prior to Novo Nordisk, Shawna was part of the GSK Canada team starting out as Sales Representative in 2013. She soon after continued to follow her passion for health and wellness focused on customer experience in the digital space, and moved into a Digital Marketing Manager position on the newly formed Digital Team at GSK. In this role, Shawna partnered with Brand teams to develop digital strategies and Above Brand digital capabilities to accelerate the commercial transformation. Shawna has a customer experience focus to bring value to customers and optimal health outcomes to patients while driving profitable growth. Shawna is known for her agility, strategic thinking and innovative mindset to accelerate Digital Transformation and Innovation.
